  1. as you know critical angle depends on refractive index the refractive index in turn depends on the phase velocity of that particular light and phase velocities are different for different colour so critical angle is related to colour of light
  2. it is because refractive index for glass air interface is greater than that of glass water interface
  3. the reason why the air bubble shines in water is because of the total internal reflection the speed of light inside the air bubble is faster than in the water the reason why the air bubble appears to be like mirror is that the light gets reflected around the outside of the bubble
