1. Iron is magnetic and sulphur isn't. So run a magnet over and through the mixture, the iron will be obtained.

2. The substances in a mixture are separated by the differences in their physical properties, such as their particle size. The more different the properties are, the easier it is to separate the substances. Tea leaves do not dissolve in water, so you can use a strainer to FILTER them.

3. Since sand is not water soluble, if the sand and salt mixture is mixed with water, the salt will dissolve and the sand won't. The salt solution can be separated from the sand with decantation or filtration. Allowing the water to evaporate from the salt solution (which can be expedited by heating) recovers the salt.
