Then,
(DC)^2 = (EC)^2 + (DE)^2 (pythagoras therom)
(20)^2 = (7.5)^2 + (DE)^2
400 = 56.25 + (DE)^2
400 - 56.25 = (DE)^2
343.75 = (DE)^2
DE = 18.54 cm
