Given :-

Time = 1 s

Acceleration due to gravity = 10 ms-²

Velocity = 0 ms-¹

S = ut + 1/2 gt²

S = 0 + 1/2 × 10 × 1 × 1

S = 5 m

Answer:

S= 5m

Explanation:

S= ut + 1/2 at^2

t= 1

S = u + 5

Now,

v= u + gt

(v= 0 ; g= 10)

0 = u + 10

u = -10

S = -10+ 5

S = -5

( Since distance cannot be negative, we might have taken velocity direction wrong)

Therefore S = 5m
