8. (2)-according to me the answer could be both rolling and sliding friction.

static or limiting friction is not the answer because the tyre is in relative motion with the road so, there is no role of either static or limiting friction. (limiting friction is just the maximum value of static friction).

now let's be back to the two options remaining,

as I said the answers could be both but the sliding friction acts only when there is not a pure rotation of tyre but the rolling friction acts in both pure and non pure rolling motion of tyre.

Pure rolling- It is the condition when the point of contact of the circular body and the surface below are having zero velocity relative to each other. Then there is no sliding between the two objects and hence no sliding friction acts.

so rolling friction is a better option than sliding friction.
