therefore selling price is

=x(1+15/100)

=(115x/100)Rs........(i)

now....if it is sold for 108 Rs more then there would have been 20%profit.

so.

=>(115x/100)+108=x(1+20/100)

=>115x+10800=120x

=>5x=10800

=>x=10800÷5

=>x=2160
