also make use of circle theorem to recognize that : The angle subtended by an arc at the center is double the angle subtended by it at any point that touches the circle...

meaning that the angle ACB is twice that of the angle at AOB

method to be used:

since a triangle has a total of 180 degrees... we can notice that the triangle ACB is an isosceles triangle .. therefore both sides have the same angle therefore :

                CBA = CAB

                hence CBA = 50 degrees...

now to get ACB by saying 180 - 50-50 = 80degrees..

by using circle theorem we  can determine AOB which is

80/2 = 40degrees
