Area of first road =45×1=45m^2
Area of 2nd road=30×1=30m^2
Area common in both the roads=1×1=1m^2
Hence, total area of roads=45+30-1=74m^2
Total area of rectangular ground =45×30=1350m^2
Hence area of remaining ground =1350-74=1276m^2
