Answer :

Eq. capacitance of parallel :

Cs = C1 + C2 + ... + Cn

Eq. capacitance of series :

1/Cp = 1/C1 + 1/C2 + ... + 1/Cn

ATQ,

Two capacitors of 1.5uF are in parallel.

Eq. of parallel connection :-

➝ Cp = C + C

➝ Cp = 1.5 + 1.5

Cp = 3uF

Now, two capacitors of 3uF and Cp are in series.

Eq. of series connection :-

➝ 1/Cs = 1/C' + 1/Cp + 1/C'

➝ 1/Cs = 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3

➝ 1/Cs = 3/3

Cs = 1uF

Hence, Equivalent capacitance of the given circuit is 1uF.
