Given :-

Total money with Lalit = ₹280

Total expenditure = ₹60

To Find :-

Ratio of :-

1) Money left with him to the total money he had.

2) His expenditure to the total money he had.

3) Money left with him to the expenditure.

Solution :-

Money left with him = ₹(280 - 60)

= ₹220

1) Ratio of noney left with him to the total money he had = {\dfrac{220}{280}}

= {\dfrac{22}{28}}

= {\dfrac{\not{22}^{11}}{\not{28}^{14}}}

= 11 : 14

2) Ratio of his expenditure to the total money he had = {\dfrac{60}{280}}

= {\dfrac{6}{28}}

= {\dfrac{\not{6}^{3}}{\not{28}^{14}}}

= 3 : 14

3) Ratio of money left with him to the expenditure = {\dfrac{220}{60}}

= {\dfrac{22}{6}}

= {\dfrac{\not{22}^{11}}{\not{6}^{3}}}

= 11 : 3

Hence, the ratios are , 11 : 14, 3 : 14 & 11 : 3
