We have to find the area of the figure

For that consider the figure as 4 parts :
1. The large semicircle
2, 3&4 the smaller semicircles
area of semicircle=pi×r^2/2

radius of first circle=21 cm
radius of 2, 3, 4 circles=21/3=7cm

Therefore area of fig= Area of the bigger semicircle+3× area of the smaller semicircles.

i.e., A=22/7×21×21/2+3×22/7×7×7/2
A=693+231
A=924cm^2

Diameter of big circle = 21

area of big figure = is pi r^2 = 22/7 * 10.5 ^2 = 346.36/2 = 173.18 .

area of small circle = d of small circle = 21/3 = 7

area = 38.48 /2 = 19.24

= 19.24 * 3 + 173.18 is your answer

= 230.9cm2.

i suggest you to check from your book answers

hope it helps
