Speed for 1st t/2 time=40km/hr
Distance=speed*time
=40*t/2
=20t km
Speed for 2nd t/2 time=60km/hr
Distance=speed*time
=60*t/2
=30t km
Average speed=total distance/total time
=(30t+20t)/t
=50t/t
=50 km/hr
Speed for 1st t/2 time=40km/hr
Distance=speed*time
=40*t/2
