1200 is not a perfect square.
Step I - Write down the number.
Step II - Do the Prime factorization i.e express 1200 as a product of prime numbers , of 1200.
1200 = 2×2×2×2×5×5×3
Step III - Express the prime factors in pairs of 2
1200= (2×2)×(2×2)×(5×5)×3
Step IV - Check that whether any number is left out or not that is not in the pair.
Here,
3 is left unpaired.
Step V - Conclude that the given number is a non - perfect square number if any prime factor was left unpaired.
Here,
Conclusion : - 1200 is not a perfect square number .
