when 2 coins are tossed simultaneously then possible outcomes are HH,HT,TH,TT.
Let S be the sample space
Then S={HH,HT,TH,TT}
n(s)=4
(a) Let E1 be the event of getting both heads
E1={HH}=>n(E1)=1
Thus required probability of gettin both heads
=P(E1)= n(E1)/n(S)=1/4
(b)let E2 be the event of getting at lest one tail
E2={HT,TH,TT}=>n(E2)=3
n(E3)/n(S)=3/4
