consider the triangles BOC and DOA ( i cant see the last alphabet sry)

angle b = angle a ( 90 degree)

angle BOC = angle DOA ( vertically opposite angles)

side bc =  side ab ( given in the diagram)

therefore

triangle BOC is congruent to triangle DOA ( ASA congruency.)

therefore ob = oa ( C.P.C.T) congruent parts of a congruent triangle.

bisect = divide into two equal parts

therefore cd bisects ab
