The value of angle X will be 110° and that of angle Y will be 50°
Let us draw a line EF parallel to line BD. And we extend line AC. Hence as the angle made by line BD with line AC is 70°
The angle made by EF with line AC will be also 70°.
Now according to opposite Angele theorem angle ACE = 70°
Angle ACE = ACB + BCE
ACB is 20° hence angle BCE will be 50°.
Now according to alternate angle theorem angle ABC will be also 50°.
Now total sum of angles of triangle is 180°.
hence angle X is 110°

<BAC = x and <DAC=70
X=180-70
X=110° ( The sun of all angles of a straight line is 180°)
now in a triangle
x+y+20=180.
( the sum of angles in a triangle is 180°)
110+20+y=180°
hope it helps u
y=50°
