Question:

(2e +3f)^2 + 8(2e +3f) +15

Let 2e +3f be x

Therefore, on substituting, we get:

x^2 + 8x + 15

=⟩ x^2 + 3x + 5x + 15 [Splitting the middle term]

=⟩ x(x + 3) + 5(x + 3)

=⟩ (x + 5)(x + 3)

=⟩ (2e + 3f + 5)(2e + 3f + 3) [Re-substituting the value of x]

Required Ans. (2e + 3f + 5)(2e + 3f + 3)

Hope this is helpful, cheers ;)
