Answer:

small ears = cold = To help them retain heat in their extremely cold environment

long tail = hot= use their tails for balance

big ears= hot=to help cool themselves, as the huge ears have a lot of blood vessels running close to the surface of the skin. This is also a case found in animals living in hotter parts of the world- they have big ears.

furry coat= cold= to protect their selves from cold windy air

hibernating= both=an animal's body temperature, heart rate, breathing, and other metabolic activities slow down significantly in order to conserve energy.

thick layer of fat= cold=to consume the heat from protecting their selves from cold harsh weather

long trunks=both=these animals have changed little over tens of millions of years.  They use this trunk to grab branches and clean them of leaves or to help pluck tasty fruit.
