To find:

  • Find the x

Solution:

  • Since , Angle subtented by arc on circle are equal
  • Thus, we get ,∠ABC = ∠BDC
  • Therefore, ∠BDC= 35
  • Consider triangle BDC
  • ∠DBC+∠CBD+∠BCD = 180°[Sum of angle of triangle is 180°]

On \: Solving \: We \: Get \\ 65° + x + 35° = 180° \\ x = 180° - 100° \\ x = 80°

Solution :-

we know that, angle subtends by same chord on the circumference of the circle are equal .

from image we can see that, chord CB, subtends ∠CAB and ∠CDB at the circumference .

So,

→ ∠CDB = ∠CAB = 35°

now, in ∆CDB we have,

→ ∠CDB = 35°

→ ∠CBD = 65° (given)

then,

→ ∠CDB + ∠CBD + ∠DCB = 180° (By angle sum Property of a ∆.)

→ 35° + 65° + x° = 180°

→ 100° + x° = 180°

→ x° = 180° - 100°

→ x° = 80° (Ans.)

Hence, value of x is 80° .
