.The meristematic cells divide frequently and they give rise to new cells. For this they require a dense cytoplasm and thin cell wall. Vacuoles if present will cause hindrance in cell division as it is full of cell sap to provide turgidity as well as rigidity to the cell.

.Sclerenchyma tissue is dead simple tissue that is present in the plants. The cells of this type of tissue are closed packed with no intercellular space in between such as a mosaic floor. This results in giving it rigidity, strength and elasticity to the plants that help in keeping in standing and withstand all the strains.

.We get a crunchy and granular feeling when we chew pear fruit because of the presence of sclerenchyma tissue. The sclerenchyma cells are of two types- fibres and sclereids. The sclereids give a crunchy feeling to the pear fruit because it provides support and hardens the tissue

.Branches of a tree move and bend freely in high wind velocity because of the presence of collenchyma that adds the property of flexibility.

.The husk of a cocunut tree is hard to pull out because ,it is made up of scelerenchyma tissues which is ade of dead cells.Sclerenchyma gives rigidity and stiffness to the plant and also due to the presence of lignin on the walls of the cells we find it tough to pull the husk out.

Hope this helps!
