• To find. : Surface area of given cube

• Solution :

*EFC =90°________(I’ve supposed * is a sign of angle EFC)

.: According to 30–60–90 theorem,

Seg FC = √3/2 Seg EC and

Seg EF = 1/2 Seg EC

.: Seg EF = 1/2 × 8√2

.: Seg EF = 4√2cm ___(i.e. one edge of cube)

.: Surface area of cube = 6(a)^2 sq.cm.

=6(4√2)^2

=6 × 32

=192 sq.cm.

.: Total surface area of given cube is 192 sq.cm.
