Area of shaded region=
Area of upper triangle+Area of lower triangle
=1/2*B*H+1/2*b*h
=1/2(B*H+b*h)
=1/2(4*3+4*3)
=1/2(12+12)
=1/2*24
=12m^2.

Therefore, 12m^2 is the required answer.

Hope it helps.

first, we have to find the area of the whole right angle triangle.
area of the whole triangle= 1/2*base*height
=1/2*(4+4)*(3+3)
=1/2*8*6
=1/2*48
=24cm sq
now we have to find the area of one triangle in the triangle.
=1/2*4*3
=1/2*12
= 6 cm sq
now to find the area of the shaded portion we must multiply the area of the triangle inside the triangle by 2 as there are 2 shaded triangles.
=6*2
=12 cm sq
therefore the area of the shaded portion=12cm sq

ankitalove: sry but we did not need to find the area of the right angle triangleignore
fattu2: Ok
