2) Area of rhombus = base × height

=> 7.5 × 4 = 30 cm

Area of rhombus is also equal to 1/2 × d1× D2

given d1 = 8 cm , to find D2

A = 1/2 d1 d2

30 = 1/2 × 8 × d2

therefore d2 = (30×2) / 8

=> 7. 5 cm

1) number of bulbs = 200 , cost of each bulb = Rs 15

therefore CP = 200×15 = Rs 3000

remaining bulbs after throwing defective ones

= 200 - 10 = 190 bulbs

now SP = 190 × Rs 18 => Rs 3,420

as SP > CP, there is gain

SP = CP [ 100 + P%] / 100

3420 = 3000 [ 100 + P % ]/100

[3420 ×100] / 3000 = 100 + P%

114 = 100 + P%

therefore P % = 114 - 100 => 14%
