Solution:
For infinite solutions, a1/a2 = b1/b2 =c1/c2
Hence, 2/(a-b) = 3/(a+b) = 7/3a+b-2 2/a-b = 7/3a+b-2 ; 3/a+b = 7/3a+b-2
6a+2b-4 = 7a-7b ; 9a+3b-6 = 7a+7b 6a-7a+2b+7b-4 = 0 ; 9a-7a+3b-7b-6 = 0
-a+9b-4 = 0 ; 2a-4b-6 = 0
a-9b=-4-- (1) ; a-2b = 3
; a = 3+2b--(2)
Putting value of a in equation (1)
3+2b-9b = -4
-7b = -4-3
b = 1
Now putting the value of b in equation (2)
a = 3+2(1)
a = 5
Hence, for infinity solutions in this equation put value of a and b = 5 and 1 respectively.
