Q. How are the Peninsular rivers of India different from those of the Himalayas? Give any

Peninsular rivers are mainly seasonal rivers .once in a year mainly during the south west monsoon their water level increases. the basins are comparatively small.

However the Himalayan rivers are perennial and have wider basins .(the reason being they are snow fed).
