WKT

  • An Altitude of a le is the perpendicular segment from a vertex of a triangle to the opposite side.

BD ⊥ AC

As it is a Perpendicular Bisector

  •  \bold{∠ADB = 90°}

WKT

  • A line drawn from one vertex to the opposite side of the le, cuts the opposite side into two equal parts.

So,

BN = NC = BC/2

BC = 2BN = 2NC

BC = 2(BN)

2(5) \\ 10

  •  \bold {BC = 10}
