In the rectangle PQRS ,

PQ = 6 cm

PR = 10 cm

QR² = PR²-PQ² [By Pythagoras theorem]

QR² = 10²-6²

QR² = 100-36

QR² = 64

Taking square roots both side :

√QR² = √64

QR = 8 cm

Now ,

Perimeter of the rectangle PQRS =

2(Length+Breadth)

= 2(8+6)

= 2×14 cm = 28cm
