Now with D as centre and radius 3.5 cm draw an arc to bisect the line DX at A.

With C as centre, draw a line segment CY at an angle of 120° i.e. ∠DCY =120°

Now with A as centre and radius 4.5 cm draw an arc to cut the line segment CY at B.

Now join A & B.

The required quadrilateral is now constructed.

The measurements of remaining side and angles are:

∠A = 55°, ∠D = 35°, BC = 5 cm
