Answer:

1...ans..Heterotrophic nutrition is a type of nutrition in which organisms depend upon other organisms for food to survive. Heterotrophic organisms have to take in all the organic substances they need to survive. All animals, fungi, and non-photosynthesizing plants are heterotrophic.

2..ans

Saprophytes are organisms that feed on the dead and decaying organic matter of plant or animal origin. Saprophytes are found mainly in the soil where they feed on the dead and decaying organic matter known as detritus and derive their nutrition and energy from this organic matter converting it to inorganic matter. The inorganic substances are released into the ecosystem and used by plants for growth and development. Saprophytes, thus, play a major role in nutrient cycling. Examples of saprophytes are fungi, such as mucor and yeasts.

Parasitic organisms are those organisms that derive their nutrition and energy by living on or in the body of another organism known as the host. The host does not benefit in any way from the parasite, whereas the parasite is wholly dependent on the host organisms. These organisms are generally disease-causing and harmful for the host organism. A parasitic organism is dependent upon the host for survival, growth, and reproduction. Some major parasitic organisms are protozoa, helminths, and ectoparasites.

Therefore, the main difference between saprophytes and parasites is that the saprophytes derive their nutrition from already deceased organisms and decaying organic matter while the parasites are dependent upon living organisms or hosts for their nutrition.
