Hi Buddy

Step-by-step explanation:

1)

current temp. = 7° C

rate of decreasing = 2°C/h

current time = 6pm

temp. to find out of time = 9pm

difference = 3 hrs

temp. decreased in hrs = 3 * 2° C

= 6°

temp at 9pm = 1° C

2)

rate = 2° / h

I. e. it will take 1 more hour from 9 pm to -1° C

I. e. time will be = 10pm

3)

temp at midnight = temp. at 10pm - 2*(difference between 12am and 10 pm)

= -1 - 2*4°C

= -9°C

Hope it'll help you and don't for get to mark as Brainliest

Given : Temperature at 6 PM and rate of decreasing temperature per hour

To find : Temperature at given time or time of given temperature

Solution:

Temperature at 6 PM  = 7°C

Rate of decreasing temperature  = 2° per hr

Temperature at  9PM

time it has been = 9 - 6  = 3hr

Temperature at 9 PM = 7  - 2 * 3

= 1°C

temperature  - 1°C

=> -1  = 7 - 2*T

=> T = 4 hrs

=> time = 6PM + 4 = 10PM

at Midnight 12 PM  , time = 12 - 6 = 6 hrs

=> Temperature at Midnight = 7 - 2*6

= -5°C
