ANSWER

  • in themodynamic work done is given

w = ∆(pv)

  • in cyclic process word done is positive for clockwise direction and negative for antoclockwise direction.
  • graphically work done is given by area under the p v curve
  • here it is circle = > area = π r^2
  • see figure
  • 1/4 π (p2-p1) (v2-v1)
  • 1/4 × 3.14 × 2
  • units 1cc = 10^-6 m^3
  • so 2 × 10 ^-3cc = 10^-3 m^3
  • 1 dyne/cm^2 = 0.1 pascal
  • so 10 ^6 dyne/cm^2 = 10^5 pascal
  • area = 314 J

so work done is 314 J

note :- work done in mechanics for cyclic process is 0 because displacent vector is 0.
