- in cyclic process word done is positive for clockwise direction and negative for antoclockwise direction.
- graphically work done is given by area under the p v curve
- here it is circle = > area = π r^2

- 1/4 π (p2-p1) (v2-v1)
- 1/4 × 3.14 × 2
- units 1cc = 10^-6 m^3
- so 2 × 10 ^-3cc = 10^-3 m^3
- 1 dyne/cm^2 = 0.1 pascal
- so 10 ^6 dyne/cm^2 = 10^5 pascal
- area = 314 J
