Answer:

  1. The conical shape of trees prevents as much accumulation of snow as there would be on broader shapes. The conical shape of the tress also help to get the snow fall very quickly and to get the sunlight which help the trees to adapt in that environment.
  2. Its light brown colour helps it to hide in dry grassland when it hunts for prey. Also it can absorb all the colours but can't absorb the brown colour and reflect it

ANSWER

Trees in the cold mountain area are cone-shaped

  • Anyone thinking of a hilly station can picture a cone-shaped tree (like those Christmas trees) in a snowy landscape.

  • The main reason for the shape is to get rid of snow.

  • All plants need sunlight.

  • Quicker the snow falls from the branches, the trees can adapt to the environment.

Benefits of the light brown colour of lions

  • Lions are present mainly in areas of dry grasslands.

  • The light brown colour helps the lion to camouflage with its surroundings.

  • This helps the lion to easily attack its prey.
