  • (a) As plants and trees in the forests use carbon dioxide to prepare their food by the process of photosynthesis and release oxygen as by-product.It is for this reason they are called "green lungs".

  • (b) Plants use CO2 from the air for thr process of photosynthesis and help to keep the level of carbon dioxide under control to a great extinct and thus helpful in controlling global warming.

  • (c) Decomposers help to return the nutrients into the soil by breaking down dead and decaying plant and animal matter present in the soil. This is the reason they are called "recyclers".

  • (e)The animals living in forests help it to regenerate and grow and in turn forests provide them food and shelter. That's why forest is also called as a "dynamic entity".
