1) All EQUILATERAL triangles are similar.

2) DE || AB,
So, In ∆s ADE and ABC,
Angle A is common
Angle ADE = Angle ABC
(Corresponding angles)
So, they are similar.

Hence, AD/DB = AE/EC
EC is 2cm....

3) Denominator = 455 = 13*7*5
So, it has non-terminating repeating decimal.

4) Thales' theorem is also known as BPT (Basic Proportionality Theorem). It states that if a line parallel to one side of a triangle is drawn to intersect other 2 lines, it divides those 2 lines in the same ratio.
