Please answer these questions!

1) if 3x=y=18, then2(3x+y)=

If x=5,then 2x+5 is how much more than x

12/30 (5)(6)+3=?

1/10(5+5)+3=?

(1) Given 3x + y = 18

Then 2(3x + y) = 2(18)

                         = 36.


(2) Given x = 5, Then 2x + 5 will be 2(x) = 2(5) = 10. That means it is 2 times of x.


(3) 12/30 * 5 * 6 + 3

     12/30 * 30 + 3

     12 + 3

     15



(4) 1/10(5 + 5) + 3 

     1/10(10) + 3

     1 + 3

     4.
