  • Dot operator - It is use to make formula between two or more values.

2. A formula always begins with an = sign.

  • = -> without equals to sign formula will not work.

3. Formulas are used to perform calculations.

  • Calculations - calculation is done in the cell where you typed formula.

4. The cell address in a formula that does not change on copying is consider as Absolute refrence.

  • Absolute refrence - Formula that doesn't change after copying.

5. To use sheet reference, you need to enter sheet number, cell address and cell reference.

  • Cell refrence - Range of the cell.
  • Cell address - Alfhanumerical value.

6. Arguments are input to functions, which accept values as number or text.

  • Arguments - Variables like ( a, b, c ... etc)
