Answer:

PLEASE MARK MY ANSWER AS BRAINLIST

amount of water the rectangular cylinder can hold = volume of cylinder = length × width × height

 = 8 \times 7 \times 5 = 280

= 280 m³ = 280

1 m³ = 1000 litres

280 m³ = x litres

x = 280000 litres

Answer:

Given,

length=8m,

breadth=7m,

height=5m,

So, volume=lbh unit³

= 8×7×5 m³

=280 m³

Again,

height of water in it=3m

So, volume of water=lbh unit³

= 8×7×3 m³

= 168 m³

So, the amount of water it can hold more

=(280-168) m³

= 112 m³

we know,

1 m³ = 1000 litre

So,

112 m³=(112×1000) litre

= 112000 litre
