Explanation:

let p(x) =3x^2+2x+(k-1)k=0

a) x=0

y=1

therefore p(x)= 3(0^2)+2(0)+(k-1)k=0

=》3×0+0+(k-1)k=0 (here ' =》' this symbol refers to implies)

=》0+0+(k-1)k=0

=》(k-1)k=0

=》k=0/k-1 (before division)

=》k=k+1/0 (after division)

=》k=0

b) the same points are also here .hence k=0

c)x=-1

y=1

p(x)= 3(-1^2)+2^(-1)+(k-1)k=0

=》3×1+(-2)+(k-1)k=0

=》(k-1)k= -3-(2)

=》(k-1)k= -5

=》k= -5/k+1

=》k= -4/k

=》k and k gets cancelled

=》-4 is the value of k

d)in this question the value of x is same hence the value of k is also same.
