Answer:

This is a very simple question.....

Let the no. be 10x + y

According to question

x=3y..............(1)

by interchanging the digits we get

the no. as 10y + x

According to question

10x + y + 10y + x = 88

11x + 11y = 88

11(x + y) = 88

x + y = 8............(2)

Putting value of equation 1 in equation 2 we get

3y + y = 8

4y = 8

y = 2

Now putting value of y in equation 2 we get

x + 2 = 8

x = 8 - 2

x = 6

Hence x = 2

y = 6
