Answer:-

Let numerator be x and denominator be y.

Therefore,

3x-(x+y)=1

>> 2x-y=1

>> y=2x-1

Now,

Numerator=x+2.

Denominator=y+2

So,

(x+2)/(y+2)=3/5

>> 5(x+2)=3(y+2)

>> 5x+10=3y+6

>> 5x-3y=-4 .....(ii)

Putting the value of y, we get,

5x-3(2x-1)=-4

>> -x+3=-4

>> -x=-7

>> x=7

Now,

y=2x-1=13

So,

x=7, y=13

Answer:-

x=7 and y=13
