Hello !!

If the mid point is equal in all sides (AB = BC), the points are collinear. In a algebraic formula we have :

(yB - yA)/(xB - xA) = (yC - yB)/(xC - xB)

Now , you put the informations of the statement in the formula and see if is collinear ir not.

(yB - yA)/(xB - xA) = (yC - yB)/(xC - xB)

((5/2) - 2)/(4 - 3) = (3 - (5/2))/(5 - 4)

((5/2) - (2/1))/(4 - 3) = ((3/1) - (5/2))/(5 - 4)

((5 - 4)/2)/(4 - 3) = ((6 - 5)/2))/(5 - 4)

(1/2)/(4 - 3) = (1/2)/(5 - 4)

(1/2)/1 = (1/2)/1

(1/2) × (1/1) = (1/2) × (1/1)

1/2 = 1/2 (are collinear)

Final result : yeah, are collinear because the mid point of AB is equal the mid point of BC.

I hope I have collaborated !
