Find a number whose fifth part increased by 30 is equal to its fourth part decreased by 30

Let the number be x.
According to question:-
=>      X  + 30   =     X  - 30
             5                  4

=>    X    --    X      =     -30-30
        5           4

=>   4X - 5X    =   -60
           20

=>     -X    =    -60
        20

=>    -X  =  -60 * 20

=>    -X  =  -1200

=>   X   = 1200

So, the number is 1200.

Let the number be x.

According to question,

⇒ (x/5) + 30 = (x/4) - 30

⇒ (x/5) - (x/4) = -30 - 30

⇒ (4x - 5x)/20 = -60

⇒ -x/20 = -60

⇒ -x = -1200

⇒ x = 1200.

Therefore, the number is 1200.

Hope it helps!
