Step-by-step explanation:

=> suppose x is unit & y is tenth place is digit.

=> so the number is = 10y+x.

=> sum of the digits of 2 digit number is 8.

=> x+y = 8 ............ @1

=> when 18 is added number will reversed. so interchange place of unit & tenth place.

=> now number is = 10x+y

=> hence,

=> 18 + 10y+x = 10x+y

=> 10y - y + x - 10x = -18

=> 9y - 9x = -18

=> 9x - 9y = 18

=> x-y =18/2

=> x-y = 2 ..............@2

add @1 + @2

=> x+y + x-y = 8+2

=> 2x = 10

=> x = 5.

=> y = x-2

=> y = 5-2

=> y = 3.

=> so the number is

=> 10y + x

=> 10*3 + 5

=> 35

=> when we add 18

= 35 + 18 = 53.

= which is reversed of 35.
