Given:

Area of the quarter circle = 12.56 in²

To find:

Quarter circle's perimeter

Solution:

Area of quarter circle = 12.56 in²

=> Area of full circle = (12.56×4) in² = 50.24 in²

=> 2πr = 50.24

=> 3.14×r = 50.24/2

=> 3.14×r = 25.12

=> r = 25.12/3.14

=> r = 8 inches

Now, Perimeter of the full circle = πr²

=> 3.14×(8)²

=> 3.14×64

=> 200.96 inches

Now, the perimeter of the quarter circle = πr²/4

=> 200.96/4

=> 50.24 inches

Hence, the perimeter of the quarter circle is 50.24 inches.
