Step-by-step explanation:

CD² = BD² - BC² [using pythagoras theorem]

CD² = 13²-12²

CD = √25

CD = 5

so,

 \sin\phi \:  =  \frac{5}{13}

now construct DE perpendicular to AB, which will be Parallel to BC, hence BCDE is a rectangle

Hence, BE = CD = 5 and DE = BC = 12

so AE = AB - BE

AE = 14-5

AE = 9

In right AED,

AD² = AE²+DE²

AD² = 9²+12²

AD = √(81+144)

AD = √225

AD = 15

Now,

 \cos \theta =  \frac{12}{15}  \\  =  \frac{4}{5}  \\  \\  \tan \theta =  \frac{12}{9}  \\  =  \frac{4}{3}

HOPE IT HELPS :D
