Here rate of doing work per person per day is constant.

So, if the piece of work is X

Then rate of doing work = X/(40*60)

Also, if for the other scenario no. of says is “d” then

rate of doing work = X/(75*d)

As rate of doing work is constant,

Hence, X/(40*69)=X/(75*d)

40*60=75*d

d=(40*60)/75

d= 32

Therefore it will take 32 days for 75 men to complete same piece of work.
