It is the most important part of human brain it performs mental activities , sensory perception and initiation and control is under this .

2.HYPOTHALAMUS

It contains reflex centres for Muscular and granular activities and performs thermoregulation and controls the behavioural patterns of sleep and stress .

3. PONS

It connect two hemispheres of the cerebellum its functions as a relay Centre transferring impulses from one hemisphere of cerebellum to the other and coordinates the muscular movement of the two sides .

4. MEDULLA OBLANGATA

It is the posterior most part of the brain and is also known as the brain stem . It continues into the trunk as spinal cord .

5. SPINAL CORD

It is the extension of medulla oblongata of brain it lies in the neural Canal of vertebral column and extends from medula to lumbar region .

6. CEREBELLUM

It is the second largest part of the brain it lies at the rear of cerebrum partly covered by it . Cerebellum also as an outer cortex made up of Grey matter that encloses the centrally located white matter
