it will be
100% × 75

= 75% end of 2003
during 2004 production is increase by 40%
it will be
75% × 140/100 = 105%
what persent change in production 2004 and 2002
2004 - 2002
= 105% - 100% = 5% increase
hence ans = 5% increase
