train be y
& Bear be z


▶According to 1st
=> x+x+z+z = 1280
=> 2(x+z) = 1280
=> x + y = 640....(1)
=> y = 640-x.....(2)

▶According to 2nd
=> x+y+z = 820
=> 640 + z = 820......[using (1)]
=> z = 180

▶According to 3rd
=> y - x = 140
=> y = 140 + x
=> 640 - x = 140 + x ...[using (2)]
=> 500 = 2x
=> x = 250


▶Thus, putting value of x and z in 4th

=> x+z+x+z
=> 2(x+z)
=> 2(250 + 180)
=> 2 × 430
=> 860

Thus, correct option in (b) Rs 860
