Step-by-step explanation:

Given Data :- RQ=15cm,PQ=20cm,PS=24cm,90° at S&Q.

To find :- SR & PR.

There are 2 right angle triangle

i.∆PQR.

In this ∆PQR.PR is hypotenuse

By Pythagoras Theorem.

(hypo)²=(S1)²+(S2)²

PR²=PQ²+RQ²

PR²=(20)²+(15)²

PR²=400+225

PR²=625

√PR²=√625

(PR=25cm) ---------(1)

ii.∆PSR.

In this ∆PSR.PR is hypotenuse.

By Pythagoras Theorem.

(hypo)²=(S1)²+(S2)²

PR²=PS²+SR²

(25)²=(24)²+(SR)² ------( By 1 )

625=576+(SR)²

625-576=(SR)²

(SR)²=625-576

(SR)²=49

√SR²=√49

(SR=7cm.)

[PR=25cm & SR=7cm]
